(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The first international project of electronic teaching of Quran recitation to women began by the Charity Association of Quran Memorization in Al-Habil province, Saudi Arabia.
Participants from more than 11 countries have registered for the course so far- on the first day of the project.
Riyadh Al-Muhaidib, head of the association said, “20 female participants from American, European and Arab countries have registered for the course. The participants are required to know Arabic language well.”
He stressed that the project is an important step taken for application of modern technologies in dissemination of the Quranic culture and teachings of the Quran.
He added that altering the destructive and extremist thoughts is possible only through dissemination of the teachings of the Divine Book by means of modern technologies according to conditions of the time.
About 8510 male and female students are studying at the charity association which seeks to teach memorization of the Quran to students and train them based on Quranic principles and values.
